RegisterAcross 365 days, Joanna, Mark and Tom Espiner drew in parallel — each following their own path, yet moving in the same direction. They discovered a collective discipline held together by commitment, which echoed with their shared past and view for the future. About In addition to a daily drawing, the three siblings worked through Betty Edwards' Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain . They explored the foundations of drawing together — developing technical skill and deepening their understanding of what it means to examine something with a pencil and to draw out meaning. The practice reshaped how they look, learn and remain connected. A Year Of Drawing Together presents the accumulated marks made in that year — a layered record of time, persistence and shared attention. Three journeys that sometimes meet, cross over, inform or diverge. This showing is a discovery process. It is a chance for the three siblings to look back across the year — the marks, moments and subjects chosen. It is a continuation of the process of reflection that has become part of the work. The installation at the Create Centre, 28th April - 1st May 2026 will be a retrospective that holds something of the accumulation, the rhythm and the shared attention that defined the discipline of drawing every day.
