About The 2026 Powerhouse Arts Staff Art Show, After Hours, features work by 55 participating artists, including full- and part-time staff, interns, and teaching artists from across the organization's departments, programs, and fabrication shops. The annual exhibition celebrates the breadth of artistic practices, materials, and craftsmanship within the Powerhouse Arts community, reflecting the organization's commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for working artists. Presented in dialogue with Masterpieces: A Virtual Experience of the Museo del Prado, After Hours explores the networks of influence and inspiration that connect artists across generations and geographies, inviting each participant to identify an artwork or artist from art history that has informed their creative practice. Together, the works on view offer a glimpse into the creative lives of the people who make Powerhouse Arts possible, highlighting the artistic practices they cultivate beyond their roles at the institution and celebrating the diversity of perspectives, skills, and traditions they bring to their work.
