RegisterMusical theatre duo Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca return to ArtYard to debut new works as part of their ArtYard residency Join acclaimed musical theatre duo Jaime Lozano and Florencia Cuenca for an intimate evening showcasing a brand-new collection of songs born from their recent ArtYard residency — works inspired by the real-life stories of New Jersey residents. Returning after last year’s Broadway en Spanglish concert, Lozano and Cuenca once again weave their signature blend of Mexican mariachi traditions, heartfelt storytelling, and family-rooted artistry, offering audiences a first listen to this deeply human and locally rooted song cycle. Jaime Lozano — hailed by Lin-Manuel Miranda as “the next big thing” on Broadway — is a multi-award-winning Mexican composer, arranger, and storyteller whose work has graced stages including The Public Theater, Lincoln Center, and the Goodspeed Opera House. Florencia Cuenca, an award-winning Mexican actress, singer, director, and writer based in New York City, is known for her dynamic performances in Real Women Have Curves and Si Nos Dejan, as well as her acclaimed albums Aquí - The New Standards and Broadway en Spanglish . About ArtYard ArtYard is an incubator for creative expression and a catalyst for collaborations that reveal the transformational power of art.
