Anomalie

Franco-Romanian artist Wanda Mihuleac's itinerant solo exhibition exploring boundaries between image and language, visibility and erasure. About Anomalie, a solo exhibition by Franco-Romanian artist Wanda Mihuleac, is an itinerant exhibition that travels from GLORIÆ Gallery in Craiova to Combinatul Fondului Plastic in Bucharest. Curated by Ruxandra Demetrescu, the exhibition brings together works spanning several decades of Mihuleac's experimental practice, encompassing drawing, printmaking, photography, collage, objects and installations. At its core is the artist's sustained questioning of the boundaries between image and language, visibility and erasure, body and memory, and her interest in sensory perception and forms of alterity. Here, anomaly is understood not simply as a deviation from a norm, but as a creative principle, a rupture through which established ways of seeing can be challenged and new forms of perception revealed.
