About event

Discover London's next generation of filmmakers and artists. An exhibition of cinema, underground culture, photography, music and experimental installations. Free entry in Brentford. About BA Film Senior Project Exhibition 2026 Film. Photography. Music. Immersive sound. Interactive art. Live performance. An exhibition to explore, experience and become part of. Presented by Richmond American University London, the BA Film Senior Project Exhibition brings together emerging filmmakers and visual artists for a celebration of creativity, storytelling and experimentation. Taking place at Golden Mile Studio in Brentford, the exhibition moves beyond the traditional cinema screen, inviting visitors into a collection of individually curated spaces, each offering its own atmosphere, story and experience. From cinematic projections and analogue technology to interactive displays, physical installations and 360° surround sound, the exhibition encourages visitors not just to observe the work, but to engage with it. What to expect More than a traditional film screening or gallery visit. Each artist has transformed their project into a physical environment, bringing together moving images, photography, music, props, printed media and interactive elements. Explore independently designed installations, discover stories told through unconventional formats and experience how film and art can extend beyond the screen. Elbow Grease — Armaan S. Kahlon (ASK) A cinematic exploration of music, memory and creative ambition, developed through the ongoing collaboration between filmmaker Armaan S. Kahlon and musician Lambretti. Combining digital projection, archival footage and analogue media, the installation reflects on their creative journey, artistic growth and the relationship between music and filmmaking. Visitors can also discover the ASK × LAMBRETTI DVD Collection, an interactive catalogue of music videos and collaborative projects presented through physical media, offering a different way to experience their body of work. Dancing in the Darkness Step into London's underground goth scene through years of photography, interviews and personal encounters. Presented through photographic publications and printed material, the installation explores the individuals, fashion, music and communities that sustain London's alternative nightlife, offering a glimpse into a world often unseen by outsiders. Lost in Life What if life came with a manual? A narrative short film exploring the uncertainty of growing up, making decisions and navigating an unknown future. Following a young woman guided by a mysterious voice, the film examines ambition, self-discovery and the choices that shape our lives. Immersive 360° Audio Installation Experience sound from an entirely different perspective. A dedicated audio installation uses a 360° speaker arrangement to surround visitors with sound, transforming listening into a spatial experience. Moving beyond conventional stereo playback, the installation invites audiences to explore the relationship between sound, space and perception, demonstrating how audio can become an artistic medium in its own right. More to discover Additional works from participating artists bring their own creative approaches, physical installations and interactive environments, offering visitors different ways to engage with film, photography and contemporary art. An evening of art, music and conversation The exhibition is also an opportunity to meet the artists, learn about their creative processes and connect with others who share an interest in independent film, photography, music and the arts. Live music from Lambretti The evening will feature a live performance by musician Lambretti, bringing the music behind the ASK × LAMBRETTI collaboration into the exhibition space. A bar will also be available for drinks, offering a relaxed environment to explore the work, meet new people and enjoy an evening surrounded by creativity. Whether you're passionate about independent cinema, interested in alternative culture, fascinated by experimental sound or simply looking for something different to experience in London, there's something here to discover.
