Human perception never offers a complete image of the world. We see in fragments, from a particular position, through filters we are often barely aware of. About Landscape, in this sense, is more than an image. It is a living ecosystem, shaped by processes that unfold independently of the human gaze. Much of what sustains it remains unseen, either because it cannot be perceived directly or because we have simply learned not to notice it. Blind Fields reflects on this form of cultural blindness. We tend to focus on what we can easily recognize and quickly absorb into a coherent image. What resists this logic is pushed to the margins, even though it remains part of the whole. The exhibition explores this uncertain territory. No point of view is neutral, and no image can offer a total representation. Every perspective reveals something while leaving something else outside the frame. Landscape changes with the position of the observer, but it always exceeds what can be seen from a single place. The aim is not to recover a complete image. Such an image may not exist. What matters is becoming aware of what remains outside our field of attention. In Blind Fields, the invisible is not separate from the visible. It belongs to it. What we do not see continues to shape the world we think we know.
