Bobbye Fermie & Jake Garfield: Man and Woman in Garden

We are looking forward to presenting a joint exhibition of new work by London-based contemporary artists Bobbye Fermie and Jake Garfield.

‘Man and Woman in Garden’ will feature 17 new works including two special pieces made by the artists in collaboration. This is the first time that the pair have worked collaboratively, and the first time that they have exhibited together. Bobbye and Jake have developed distinct practices alongside one another with several connections emerging over the years. The presence of a human figure – within imagined or specific interior spaces – is an important constant for both. In ‘Man and Woman in Garden’, further mutual interests emerge, including closely related palettes, and a shared love for a tactile range of media. Described by Bobbye as ‘a celebration of life’, the exhibition will include new monotypes, limited edition prints, collages and paintings by both artists.
