About Il·lacions gallery hosts «Visages», the first solo exhibition by French designer Brigitte Engel, as part of OFF Enjoia't 2026, organised by A-FAD. Brigitte Engel is an eponymous contemporary jewellery brand, founded by a mother and her son, Hugo Engel-Berriau. It offers wearable sculptures. Brigitte Engel has spent her life in the wings of performance venues, from the Olympia to the Paris Opera, where creations are brought to life for a single evening on stage. Her practice follows the opposite path: she captures what passes and makes it wearable. Each piece becomes both a memory and a tribute, named not only for the image it evokes, but for the ideas and emotions it carries. Opening on Thursday 15 October at 7pm, with the artist present.
