RSVPAnnual photography contest bringing together 25 photographs by 16 finalists, exploring Coral Gables as a civic and cultural landscape as America marks its 250th anniversary. About Presented in conjunction with the United States' 250th anniversary, Capture Coral Gables 2026 examines Coral Gables as a living civic and cultural landscape. Through 25 photographs, the exhibition considers the city through its people, architecture, public spaces, environment, and connections beyond its borders. Organized around five themes, the selected works move beyond a purely architectural portrait of Coral Gables to explore how identity is shaped by everyday life, shared spaces, memory, and the city's changing character. Across the exhibition, photography becomes a way to observe both continuity and transformation. Familiar landmarks, civic spaces, and everyday encounters are reframed through individual perspectives that reveal how people inhabit, interpret, and continually reimagine the city. The works create a layered portrait of Coral Gables in the present while opening a broader conversation about preservation, belonging, change, and the possibilities that may shape its future.
