RegisterWorks from 20th Century East Anglian Artists. An exhibition of art work reflecting the horizons of East Anglia. Drawing on the Modern British artists and art schools of four counties. Presented by Oriel Fine Art and Inexpensive Progress.
11- 5 pm. 11/04/26 - 19/04/26 Closed Mon/Tues. A mixed exhibition encompassing works from artists who lived in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex or who worked at art schools such as Cambridge School of Art, Benton End, Colchester School of Art or Norwich School of Art. A real mixture of Great Bardfield and beyond. Artists will include Edward Bawden, John Nash, Walter Hoyle, Michael Rothenstein, Tessa Newcomb, Rowland Suddaby , Lionel Bulmer, John O'Connor, John Bolam and R.T. Durrant. Work will be available to purchase. There will be three talks by Robjn Cantus during the exhibition: 11th April: 2pm ‘Edward Bawden & Great Bardfield’ 12th April: 2pm ‘The world of Lucie Aldridge’ 18th April: 2pm ‘Women at work: artists in the east’.
