RSVPA photographic series celebrating the enduring spirit of Hyson Green through the faces and stories of people with deep connections to the area. About For decades, Hyson Green has been a vibrant meeting point of cultures, shaped by resilience, migration and multiculturalism. This photographic series celebrates the individuals whose lives, memories and identities are woven into its streets, while particularly acknowledging the lasting contribution of the Jamaican community, whose presence has helped shape the area's cultural identity across generations. Spanning from the early 1960s to the present day, the exhibition traces a living timeline of a changing urban landscape through the people who have called Hyson Green home. Together, these portraits form a powerful visual archive of continuity, identity, legacy, and collective belonging. Photography by Tom Platinum Morely. Read more Toggle Photography
