Free Easter Fun at Windermere Jetty Museum

Join us in the Learning Centre this Easter Holidays for free, hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity through play.

Egg Painting Drop into the Learning Centre to decorate your own egg, inspired by the colours and wildlife of Windermere. Available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the Cumbrian Easter School Holidays between 11am–3:45pm. Interactive STEM Lab Explore fun, hands-on STEAM challenges inspired by boats, engineering, and life on the lake. Available every day during the Cumbrian Easter School Holidays. The above activities are free to participate in on a drop-in basis. Why not extend your visit and explore the kid-friendly activities available in the museum too? With museum admission, families can also enjoy the activities mentioned below. Museum Egg Hunt Search the museum for hidden eggs inspired by the wild birds of Windermere. Can you spot them all? Cargo Chaos Game Can you beat the highest score? Race the clock in our brand-new remote-controlled game inspired by Raven, one of our largest historic vessels. Raise Dolly Interactive Trail Have a go at our refreshed museum-wide interactive challenge with the aim of saving Dolly from the waters of Windermere. With free creative activities and interactive activities available throughout the museum, and opportunity to treat your family to a heritage boat trip, Windermere Jetty Museum is the perfect place for a family day out this Easter.
