RSVPJoin Photojournalism Hub at Riverside Studios for an engaging session with two acclaimed photographers examining culture, identity, and global traditions through distinct visual perspectives. About In this edition of IN FOCUS, Photojournalism Hub presents UNESCO award-winning investigative photojournalist Jeremy Hunter and multi-disciplinary artist Seema Khalique. Together, they offer two powerful takes on how photojournalism and portraiture shape our understanding of memory, community, and belonging. Jeremy Hunter draws on decades of global reporting across 70 countries to document sacred rituals, traditional societies, and rare perspectives on everyday life in North Korea. His visual storytelling explores politics, propaganda, and cultural identity, featuring insights from his internationally presented work North Korea Exposed – Daily Life in the Hermit Kingdom. Seema Khalique examines memory, migration, and post-war history through documentary photography and moving image. She highlights Londoni Memoirs, a deeply personal portrait and archive project documenting the experiences, exodus, and heritage of Bangladeshi migrants who arrived in the UK between the 1950s and 1970s. Produced by the Photojournalism Hub in collaboration with Riverside Studios, IN FOCUS brings together courage, independent thought, and world-class visual storytelling. Photography
