About event

We are delighted to announce For 'Your Keeping', a new solo exhibition by Jonathan Baldock at Canopy Collections HQ. Best known for his large-scale installations, the artist turns here to a more intimate register, with a new body of small-scale works. About Made in ceramic and textile, the works take the form of votive objects, keepsakes and bodily hybrids. Baldock’s long-standing engagement with folklore, ritual and the natural world is distilled to a more personal scale, exploring ideas of care, vulnerability, containment and transformation. The exhibition will be accompanied by an essay by Gemma Brace, Head of Exhibitions at Arnolfini, Bristol. Jonathan Baldock (b. 1980, Kent, UK) is a British artist living in London.
