Listening to the earth

'Listening to the earth' explores the practices of an intergenerational group of artists who work with the earth as subject and material. About Curated by Hammad Nasar, participating artists include David Alesworth, Mohammad Alfaraj, Emii Alrai, Ali Kazim, Mary Lemley, David Nash, Abigail Reynolds, Ro Robertson, Tanoa Sasraku and Anwar Jalal Shemza. Using diverse methods and materials – including dust, foraged natural pigments, ash, slate, photography and field recordings – these artists expand the language of drawing, prompting the question: 'What might we discover if we listened to the earth with all our senses?'
