RegisterJoin us for a hauntingly beautiful evening of music, story, and folklore… To celebrate her time as Carnegie Musician in Residence, harper Alannah Thornburgh presents ‘The Thinning Veil: Haunting Tales & Tunes of Fingal’, a suite inspired by Samhain, when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest and the echoes of the past feel closest. During her residency, Alannah explored Fingal’s rich tradition of ghost stories and folklore, composing original music in response to the tales she uncovered. This unique performance brings those stories to life through evocative soundscapes and powerful storytelling. Featuring original works inspired by Ardgillan Castle ( The Lady of the Stairs ), Malahide Castle ( Puck the Jester) and The White Rat of Howth. This performance also marks a special milestone as the inaugural residency of the Carnegie’s Musician in Residence Programme, a partnership between Fingal Arts Office and Music Network, supporting artists in creating new work rooted in place, culture, and community. Tickets available now – don’t miss this unforgettable night where music and myth intertwine.
