RegisterJoin Ashfia Ashrif, a Manchester based artist, to learn how to construct/draw and paint flowers inspired by the Mughal Empire of India. This demonstrative workshop on how to construct/draw and paint flowers inspired by the Mughal Empire of India, will be led by Ashfia Ashrif an artist and a student of Traditional Arts. Beautiful, bold, floral patterns often adorned the walls of the Mughal Courts of India. Ashfia will speak briefly about the enchanting, rich and grand floral empire that controlled much of South Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries. In the workshop, in particular participants will look at a design that is on a Darbar wall in a palace in the Punjab in India. Introduced by Didsbury Library Team.
