Nicola Rubinstein

The exhibition presents recent works by the Berlin-based artist Nicola Rubinstein in which landscape and sea, fire and water become fields of experience and perception.

Moving between concentration and silence on the one hand, and eruption and ecstasy on the other, her paintings combine vibrant colors and expressive gestures with calm pictorial grounds. Drawing from an intuitive and seemingly inexhaustible source, the artist creates spaces of open perception and timeless composition. Over 20 works in mixed media on canvas in high formats.
