North Macedonia Pavilion 2026: Pietà in the Emergency Blankets

North Macedonia is participating 61st Venice Biennale at Venice, Italy with the pavilion titled "Pietà in the Emergency Blankets”. About The project “Pietà in the Emergency Blankets” by artist Velimir Žernovski, curated by Tihomir Topuzovski and Amanda Boetzkes, and submitted by the Museum of Contemporary Art. The project is fully supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of North Macedonia. and the Museum of Contemporary Art – Skopje will represent Macedonia at the 61st International La Biennale di Venezia.
