This new site-sensitive sound installation celebrates the launch of Phil Coy’s debut album 60bpm 33bpm released on Flaming Pines About Hydro Electric Domestic transposes Phil Coy’s site-sensitive deep listening sound installation Sixty Beats Per Minute to the physical spaces of Flat Time House, itself a conceptual articulation of John Latham’s time-based theories. Transforming Flat Time House into a sonic time-machine and live film score, the domestic interior is prepared to perform a live pulse mixed with details of Peckham’s ambient soundscape.
