About Rallou Theodoridou Presque Nuit October 10 – October 23, 2026 Vernissage - Saturday October 10 ( 5-7pm ) Gallery Nostrum is delighted to present Presque Nuit , a solo-exhibition by Greek artist, Rallou Theodoridou. Please join us for the vernissage on Saturday October 10th from 5-7pm for a focused and uncluttered selection of recent works produced during her studies at Beaux-Arts de Liége (Be). Presque Nuit Almost night – the hour between sunset and twilight. Hidden behind the gathering gloom, colours and shadows fade from the landscape. Only the shapes remain. Evocative forms, allowing the place to reclaim its mythological and symbolic power, lost amidst the light and noise of the day. Gods and nymphs, heroes and celestial creatures reclaim their lost place and weave the history and geography of the site. It is no longer the tangible landscape, but the archetypal landscape, which soothes the soul and comforts the restless mind. This evocation of the landscape encourages a new way of looking that is no longer rooted in admiration but in reflection. The landscape is no longer a recognisable memory, but the starting point for an intimate exploration, in the calm and depth of the approaching night. Rallou Theodoridou (1981) lives and works in Namur. Through painting and drawing, she explores the themes of exile, transformation and the shifting nature of identity, using landscape and unresolved trauma as her medium. The exhibition will continue Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1-6pm until October 23rd and by appointment.
