Roy Holt - Wall Features

Roy Holt’s wall features probe DIY culture, taste and domestic decoration, using painted fragments and faux architectural elements to reveal the quiet absurdities shaping how we see. About Roy Holt’s wall features explore how domestic taste, DIY culture and home‑personalisation shape visual decision‑making. Using painted fragments, faux doors and patterned surfaces, he exposes the conventions behind decoration and the instability of context. Installed within the atrium’s layered architecture, these works act as precise interruptions, letting Holt’s dry humour and gentle destabilisations operate directly within the fabric of the space.
