Solarium

Solarium marks Amélie McKee’s debut solo show, curated by Kollektiv Collective at Plicnik Space Initiative. About The exhibition considers how aesthetic frameworks galvanise forms of authority. Conceived as a site-specific, immersive installation, the exhibition draws on neoclassical ideals, technological utopia and institutional critique. Staging faux marble carpet tiles, energy drinks and uranium glass plates, Solarium traces how functional, symbolic, and aesthetic roles shift with technological development.
