Sony World Photography Awards 2026 Exhibition

The world-class photography exhibition is back. Offering an insight into the artists working in the medium today, the Sony World Photography Awards bring the best images from the past year to the West and East Wings of Somerset House.

Discover the best photographs from the past year in a diverse display of over 300 pictures See Joel Meyerowitz’s work in a new light through an immersive, mixed-media presentation Be part of photography's unmissable annual moment Delve into two special showcases: Joel Meyerowitz’s vibrant imagery takes you to the streets of Europe and beyond through a mixed-media display of photographs, videos, and soundscapes, while 2025 Photographer of the Year Zed Nelson explores the complex relationship between humans and the natural world in The Anthropocene Illusion . From emerging talents to established artists, this is where the world comes to see what matters in the medium today. Visitors will also have the opportunity to upgrade to a combo ticket granting entry to both the exhibition and an exclusive artist talk on 21 April at 7pm at Logan Hall, offering a unique chance to hear from Meyerowitz himself. The talk will be moderated by John Wilson, an acclaimed British broadcaster and journalist.
