RegisterMiss CC a Congolese village elder suffering from Alzheimer's reaches back into her past uncovering secrets that unknowingly have shaped the lives of those closest to her. In a race against memory loss, can she recall her life's journey in time to leave behind her story in her own words? The LOST Lombi is a universal story exploring the importance of roots, community, and belonging. Set in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the UK, interweaving three generations of stories together from the 1950's to present day. A story of resilience, survival and small triumphs, illuminating the light and dark that dwells within us all and reminding us of our existential duty to harness our humanity. This performance takes place in the fifth year of Peckham Fringe Festival, and the 40th Anniversary year of Theatre Peckham. Click here to see the full programme for this year's Peckham Fringe.
