Tom Vattakuzhy: Shifting Ground

ICIA and AstaGuru is pleased to present Shifting Ground, Tom Vattakuzhy’s first solo exhibition in London, as part of Asian Art in London 2026. About The exhibition brings together a new body of paintings that considers the shifting ground beneath us - psychological, social, political and ecological. Drawing from the everyday, Vattakuzhy’s works explore uncertainty, memory, relationships, belonging and the structures that shape individual lives. While grounded in the Indian context, the questions within these paintings extend beyond geography, inviting reflection on a world in which familiar structures of certainty and protection can no longer be taken for granted. Join us for a late-night opening on 31 October, from 17:00 to 20:00. Read more Toggle Painting
