About ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the opening of “TRIGGERED: The Gun Epidemic in America”, a solo exhibition by Jeff Corwin, curated by Luca Curci and co-curated by Amaride Ferrante, that will open on October 27, 2026, at 06:00 PM at Palazzo Pisani-Revedin, in Venice. The exhibition will run until November 02, 2026. The exhibition invites the viewer to confront the stark truth of an ongoing tragedy, providing a meditative yet unsettling space to reflect on the intersections of heritage, violence, and the systemic failure to protect the innocent. Jeff Corwin, acclaimed American photographer, presents a provocative and timely body of work that addresses one of the most pressing crises in the United States today. After decades of capturing the world through a commercial lens, Corwin brings his discerning eye to Venice with a series that serves as both a visceral critique and a stark documentation of the American gun epidemic. The project “Guns in America” was born from a moment of national trauma: the 2012 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, where 20 children and 6 adults were murdered. This tragedy, a symbol of the country’s systemic violence, sparked Corwin’s ongoing investigation into a government that fails to provide answers. Through studio-built assemblages – constructed from items found in antique stores, junk yards, and online – he creates a “theatre of violence” that mirrors the daily reality of a nation where gun ownership is a constitutionally protected right, yet public safety remains elusive.
