RSVPWild Lives is a free solo exhibition by Oldham wildlife artist Anne Bardsley, celebrating the character, beauty and vulnerability of the animal world. The exhibition comes to an end on Saturday 7th November, with a special closing event from 2pm–4pm at Gallery Oldham. About Animals have so much personality, whether they're looking curious, grumpy or posing for the camera. Inspired by her own reference photos taken at zoos and wildlife parks, Anne creates expressive animal portraits full of colour and character. Some might give you a suspicious stare, while others look like they're judging your life choices! Working in acrylic, oil and mixed media, Anne explores the connection between people and wildlife, with a particular focus on endangered and vulnerable species. Through her work, she hopes to encourage a greater appreciation of animals and raise awareness of the importance of protecting the natural world. Anne has also been nominated as a Greater Manchester Town of Culture Ambassador for 2026/27, recognising her involvement in the local arts and cultural community. The closing event is a chance to meet Anne, enjoy the exhibition one last time and thank everyone who has supported the show before it comes to an end. Date: Saturday 7 November 2026 Time: 2pm–4pm Location: Gallery One, Gallery Oldham Admission: Free Everyone is welcome. Please RSVP in advance to help with arrangements.
